Buddy Leroux attempts to gain control of the Boston Red Sox.

Leroux attempts to wrest control of the team from Jean Yawkey, widow of longtime owner Tom Yawkey, and Haywood Sullivan. He is stymied by a court ruling in February, 1984, and subsequently forced to sell his interest in the team to Mrs. Yawkey.
